Описание: I composed the Suite super "Ave Maris Stella" in 1984-85, when I was still a pupil of Giuseppe Peirolo at the Conservatory of Cuneo. It is a descriptive work, consisting of seven movements of different length. It narrates the temporal and spiritual journey of a lifetime. “Rhapsody” speaks of childhood, with its rapid changes of mood, the enthusiasms, the ecstasies, the disappointments. “Carillon” is the adolescence, with its anxieties, its nostalgia, its hopes. “Duetto in canone” the loss of the road that was believed safe. “Largo” the night, in which, however, glimpse flashes of light. “Ricercare” is the decision to restart. The “Recitativo” the joy and serenity at last found. The “Canto di Pace” the landing at the ultimate port. It’s a journey of faith and maturity. Language is fundamentally modal.

Composi la Suite super “Ave Maris Stella” nel 1984-85, quando ero ancora allievo di Giuseppe Peirolo al conservatorio di Cuneo. Si tratta di un opera descrittiva, composta di sette movimenti di differente durata. Narra il percorso temporale e spirituale di tutta una vita. La Rapsodia parla della fanciullezza, con i suoi rapidi cambi d’umore, gli entusiasmi, le estasi, le delusioni. Il Carillon rappresenta l’adolescenza, con i suoi turbamenti, le sue nostalgie, le sue speranze. Il Duetto in canone lo smarrimento della strada che si credeva sicura. Il Largo la notte, in cui però s’intravvedono lampi di luce. Il Ricercare la decisione di ripartire e di cercare. Il Recitativo la gioia e la serenità finalmente trovate. Il Canto di Pace l’approdo al porto finale. È un percorso di fede e di maturazione. Il linguaggio è fondamentalmente modale.
